What Is Inpatient Drug Rehab?

An inpatient treatment program can be beneficial to a person who feels as though they need to change the environment around them in order to truly capitalize on the goals that they have for themselves and their sobriety. This form of treatment can provide you with the focus that you need from a team of addiction experts.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

If you have never been through the drug rehab process before, one of the questions that you may have revolved around how long your treatment program will take. The answer is that it’s up to you. There are many people who reach out to us who are committed to a long-term recovery program. They understand the tremendous benefits of working through a 60 or 90-day treatment plan. However, there are many other people who don’t feel as comfortable with this duration. They are not completely sure if recovery is for them or due to other responsibilities, they are only able to set aside 30 days for recovery.

One of the ways that The Source Treatment Center team stands out in comparison to other treatment facilities is that we have an in-depth understanding that you can never take a one size fits all approach to addiction treatment and recovery. Every client will have the benefit of having their own personalized treatment program and regular check-ins with their addiction treatment team. Also, if you decide that you would like to continue on in your recovery journey,

What Is Outpatient Rehab?

Many people mistakenly believe that the only way to truly overcome their addiction is by committing to a partial hospitalization or inpatient treatment plan. However, the reality is that not every person is in the position to be able to take time off from work or pause their home life to commit to this type of program. This is the leading reason why outpatient drug rehab is so prevalent among clients who work or go to school full time or even part-time. Our outpatient program comes with a requirement of three hours per week of group therapy and one hour per week of individual counseling. We will do everything that we can to work around your schedule so you don’t feel as though you need to choose between your life responsibilities or your recovery.

IOP

In many ways, an intensive outpatient program, also known as an IOP, is a hybrid between a general outpatient program and a partial hospitalization program. This is one of the reasons why so many people use an IOP as a step-down program after PHP. An intensive outpatient treatment program requires at least nine hours of therapeutic care per week. This will include the same forms of therapy that you experienced during a partial hospitalization program and expand on what you learned during that program option. If you opt to begin your treatment in an IOP, then you can expect to take a deep dive into the traumatic events in your life that contributed to your addiction. At The Source, we recognize that every person reacts to trauma differently. Therefore, we believe that it’s critical to get to know our clients on a personal level so that we can help them to face that trauma head-on so that they can grow and develop into the person that they have always dreamt of becoming.

PHP

A PHP, also known as a partial hospitalization program, is the most structured program that we offer at The Source. Clients that would like to take advantage of this option will have the opportunity to live in one of our beautiful Fort Lauderdale single-family residences and have the peace of mind of knowing that they will have around-the-clock access to their treatment team. Our luxurious accommodations are set up in a way where you will feel as though you’re indulging in a home away from home type of environment.

During partial hospitalization treatment, you will participate in a minimum of 25 hours of therapeutic treatment each week. These therapeutic activities may include massages, going to the gym, or general downtime and reflection. You will also participate in group therapy as well as individual therapy which can help you to overcome certain traumas that you may have experienced in your life which contributed to the development of your addiction.
