What to Expect During Intensive Outpatient Rehab

Your experience in our intensive outpatient program is one that can be potentially life changing as long as you remain open to the tools and the lessons that you are learning during the course of your treatment plan. At The Source, we don’t believe that you should put a time limit on your treatment plan. However, it’s important to remember that your addiction did not evolve overnight, therefore, it will take much longer than a few days, weeks or even months for you to overcome it.

Unlike our partial hospitalization program that provides you with around the clock care, our intensive outpatient program requires that you participate in a minimum of nine hours a week taking part in treatment each week. You will have the opportunity to take experience a variety of both traditional and cutting-edge techniques that will help you to process your traumas.

Two of the standard forms of therapy that you will experience during the course of your intensive outpatient treatment program are group therapy and individual therapy. Group therapy closely follows the format of a 12-step meeting so if you have ever attended this type of meeting you will likely feel comfortable with the format. During group therapy, you will have the chance to interact with other people in your group that may have similar experiences to your own. Through sharing and listening, you will be able to come to a better understanding of certain subjects associated with addiction, trauma, recovery and sobriety.

Another important type of counseling that you will participate in is individual therapy. These sessions are more personalized in the sense that you have the opportunity to speak with a member of our team in a one on one setting. During individual therapy, you can talk to one of our counselors about things in your life that you may not feel comfortable talking about in a group setting. Additionally, you can also review your treatment plan to see if any adjustments should be made. For example, you can opt to extend your treatment program or you can address any concerns you have regarding the different forms of therapy.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

At The Source, we take a personalized approach when it comes to developing a treatment plan. Our team takes the time to learn more about your experiences so that we can help to make you the most out of your time with us. There may be certain clients that require a longer treatment plan while there are other clients that may only be able to commit to a 30 day stay. The fact that the recovery plan is different for every client is one of the reasons why it’s impossible for us to let you know ahead of time the cost associated with your treatment plan.

You can rest assured that we will do everything that we can to provide you with the opportunity to come to The Source for treatment. We believe that every person that genuinely wants to overcome their addiction should have the chance to do so. We accept a number of private insurance providers that can help to make the financial cost of your treatment plan easier.

We never want cost to be a deterrent if you would like to come to The Source. We still encourage you to reach out to a member of our team to talk about your options and learn more about how we can help you.

Does Insurance Cover IOP Rehab?

You may be surprised to learn that addiction treatment programs were not always covered by insurance companies. It’s only recently that addiction was identified as a disease instead of a condition that a person knowingly chooses to maintain. As a result, there are numerous insurance companies that offer the option for their clients to take advantage of different addiction treatment programs. It’s important to remember that the terms of coverage are different for every insurance carrier.

What is the Difference Between Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab?

The leading difference between a partial hospitalization program and an outpatient program is where you stay during the time that you aren’t participating in treatment. Our PHP gives you the chance to live in one of our luxurious residences while our outpatient clients will come to our location for their treatment. You can rest assured that regardless of which program you choose you will always get the same compassion and care that you need during this time.
