What to Expect During Residential Drug Rehab

There are countless people that struggle to maintain their sobriety if they aren’t in an environment that is conducive to recovery during the first few days and weeks of their recovery. Our residential rehab program can help to remove you from a situation that may jeopardize your sobriety or your recovery for a period of time until you’re able to become more stable and confident in your recovery.

Clients that opt to enroll in our partial hospitalization program will have the benefit of living in one of our luxurious single-family residences during the course of their treatment. You will have the opportunity to eat, sleep and relax in one of these homes when you aren’t participating in treatment. Each location is within close proximity to our facility so you also have the peace of mind of knowing that a member of our team is available around the clock if you need anything throughout the time that you’re working with us.

How Long is Inpatient Drug Rehab

As one of the best drug rehab centers in Florida, we understand that it will take longer than a few days or even a few weeks to work through the immediate concerns you have regarding your addiction and your sobriety. As a result, we never put an exact timeframe on your recovery. Instead, we leave the door open to extend your treatment program at any time.

There are some clients that come to The Source and begin their journey toward recovery with a 30-day program for one reason or another. Many clients cannot commit to a longer program because of other external factors whereas there are some that are still hesitant when it comes to whether or not coming to our treatment facility will truly work for them.

Does The Source Take My Insurance?

One of the leading concerns among clients that are interested in coming to The Source for treatment revolves around finances and insurance. Our team goes above and beyond to ensure that any person that wants to receive treatment for their addiction has the opportunity to do so which is why we access a number of different private insurance providers.

A top problem that potential clients tend to have when it comes to their insurance is that they are unsure of the terms of their coverage. It’s important to keep in mind that insurance is different and dependent on your plan. For example, there are some insurance companies that will completely cover the cost associated with an inpatient treatment plan but will not cover the cost of detox. If you need help cutting through the red tape of your insurance, please let us know and we will assist you in any way that we can.

What Does a Day in Rehab Look Like?

Keep in mind that because your treatment plan is personalized to you, you will have a different schedule than that of another client. However, regardless of whether you decide to work through our outpatient program or our partial hospitalization program, you will participate in different forms of therapy throughout the course of your recovery. The main difference between a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program or a general outpatient program is the number of hours that you will spend in treatment each week. For example, our partial hospitalization program clients will spend approximately 25 hours in treatment whereas our general outpatient program clients will spend a minimum of four hours a week in treatment.

At The Source, we believe that the genesis of addiction is experiencing some form of trauma during your life. For instance, there are countless people that come to The Source who were physically, emotionally or sexually assaulted while there are many others who witnessed an event that made an undeniable impact on their life. There are many other people who aren’t consciously aware of traumas that they may have experienced. Our team will help you to identify those traumas and work them so that they are no longer trigger points for you.

The main way that we assist our clients in working through their traumas is through therapy. We offer a mixture of different forms of counseling such as sessions that are specific to addressing your traumas. When you begin to work with us, we will speak with you about the types of trauma therapies that may be best suited for you.

We also utilize more traditional forms of therapy into every treatment plan. For example, there are incredible positive impacts on recovery when a person actively takes part in group therapy. Group therapy is similar to a 12-step meeting in the sense that it will give you and other group members that opportunity to share and participate in a discussion regarding different topics. You will likely come to find that others feel the same way that you do which can help you to grow and develop your system of support. We always encourage you to actively communicate not only with our team but with clients so that you can continue to develop your own understanding of addiction as well as healthy relationships.
