Rehab for Expecting Mothers

For many women, when they find out that they are pregnant they are over the moon excited. However, there are several other women, specifically ones that are struggling with addiction, who are incredibly scared of the fact that they are pregnant. If you find out that you’re pregnant and you are combating an addiction to drugs or alcohol, The Source Treatment team is here for you.

We strongly recommend women who are pregnant and are ready to overcome their addiction seriously consider taking advantage of our partial hospitalization program. Expectant mothers that come to our partial hospitalization program will have the around the clock care that they need during this time. First and foremost, we will go above and beyond to monitor all of the aspects of your pregnancy to ensure that you and your child remain in the best possible health. You will also participate in a minimum of 25 hours of treatment per week so that you can start to learn more about addiction and what may have led you down the road toward this disease in the first place.

When you aren’t taking part in therapy, you will have the chance to enjoy our luxurious single-family residence. Do you want to get up and get a little active? You can opt to take a long walk along the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach, attend a 12-step meeting or go to the gym. Remember, if there is anything that we can do to make your time with us more successful, just let us know and we will do everything that we can to accommodate your requests.

Rehab for Women With Children

Some women mistakenly believe that because they have children, they can’t make the time to receive the addiction treatment that they need. When you come to The Source, we will do everything that we can to make sure that you receive the care that you need around your schedule.

If you have children but you recognize the fact that you need treatment, we can help you put together a plan for outpatient care. Our intensive outpatient program requires that clients participate in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week while our general outpatient program requires a minimum of four hours of counseling per week.

You will take part in the same forms of therapy as our partial hospitalization program clients. A few examples include behavioral therapy, group therapy as well as individual counseling and trauma-based rehab. These therapeutic techniques will help you to develop a better understanding of the events in your life that may have triggered your addiction. You will also learn what you can do to help make those negative experiences less painful so that they no longer trigger your addiction. Although it’s true that these interactions may be difficult at times, they will greatly benefit you and your sobriety for the rest of your life.

Benefits of a Women’s Only Program

There are tremendous advantages to making the decision to enroll in a treatment program that is exclusively focused on women and their needs. It’s understandable that there are women that simply don’t feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings around other men. For example, if a woman with addiction was sexually or physically assaulted by a man in her past, it’s likely that she won’t feel at ease talking about those experiences in the presence of a man for a period of time.

When you come to The Source, we work with you so that you can begin to feel more confident in talking about your experiences regardless of who you’re speaking to. Over time and with dedication you will slowly but surely see that talking about these traumas is not something that should hold you back. Instead, you can grow and develop in spite of them.

If you’re a woman or a mother, you never have to deal with going through the process of recovering from drugs or alcohol by yourself. The Source Treatment Center team is here to provide you with the support and understanding that you need to establish your sobriety and learn more about the disease of addiction. A member of our team is available right now to help you to begin the process of enrolling in one of our treatment programs. Please reach out to us today at (800) 204-0418 for more information.
