Since The Source is located in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida, you can rest assured that you will be surrounded by the incredible sites and sounds of the culture of the area. If you opt to work through our partial hospitalization program, you will have the benefit of living in one of our beautiful single-family residences. Our housing is located close to the Fort Lauderdale beach as well as numerous 12-step meeting location options so that you can continue to grow and develop your system of support any time you would like. If you need recommendations on fun, sober-friendly things to do during the time that you’re with us, you can always speak to a member of our team.

Family Focused Opioid Therapy

At The Source, we believe that family is a critical component in your overall recovery. Unfortunately, addiction is commonly referred to as a family disease due in large part to the fact that it has a negative impact not only on the person that is suffering with the disease but also their family members. When you come to our Fort Lauderdale facility, we will provide you and your family with options to participate in family therapy which will help you and your family begin to talk about the struggles in your relationships as a result of addiction so that you can begin to re-establish these connections with your family.

What Opioid Rehab is Like?

Your experience at our opioid rehab will depend on the treatment plan that you select. For example, while our partial hospitalization program clients will live in designated housing and have around the clock access to our team, our outpatient program clients will be able to come and go from our facility according to their treatment plan. An outpatient program is an ideal option if you work or you’re going to school. We will do everything that we can to help you to create a treatment plan that will accommodate both your school or work responsibilities while still providing you with options so that you can receive the care that you need.

Regardless of whether you decide to enroll in one of our outpatient programs or a partial hospitalization program, you will primarily spend your time taking part in therapy. Counseling provides you with the opportunity to take a look at the events in your life that may have contributed to your addiction. It’s not uncommon for a person to have experienced a certain type of trauma that may have led to your addiction. For instance, experiencing abuse or being involved in a deadly car accident can all trigger certain emotions. If those emotions aren’t addressed in a healthy way, it can lead to an addiction.

Once you have identified the root cause of your addiction, you can move forward and begin to talk about overcoming these experiences. This is done through participating in specific forms of therapy. For example, we offer a variety of options for trauma-based therapy that can help you to address the emotions surrounding your trauma so that you can begin to work through them in a way that doesn’t cause you more trauma.

Group therapy will also play a key role in your long-term addiction. This form of therapy is similar to attending a 12-step meeting in the sense that you will have the chance to communicate and interact not only with our treatment team but also with other clients that are working through their own form of treatment. The topic of discussion will change during each session but, overall, this form of therapy will help you to learn more about yourself and help you to begin to make connections with other clients that are going through their own recovery.

How Long Does Rehab Last?

It’s important to remember that addiction impacts every person differently. As a result, we believe that it’s critical that we provide our clients with different options when it comes to the duration of their drug rehab in Scranton. There are many clients that we work with that are still leery about whether or not they need to work through a treatment program. If you feel as though you fall into this category, we recommend that you take advantage of our 30-day program. Our 30-day program will provide you with the initial experience of receiving the addiction treatment that you need.

Of course, we always offer the opportunity for our clients to either extend their treatment program to a 60 or 90-day one or begin with a 60 or 90-day program right away. While it’s true that the decision regarding the length of your treatment program is something that is specific to the goals that you have for yourself, we always recommend that you take the time to speak with a member of our team about your options so that you select the recovery plan that is best for you.
