First and foremost, you have the opportunity to change the people, places and things around you which is something that can be key in long term sobriety. Often, many Scranton residents that come to our Fort Lauderdale facility do so to get away from those toxic influences while establishing and learning what they need to do to maintain their sobriety. When you come to The Source, we will teach you the important tools that you need to accomplish this task.

What is Inpatient Drug Rehab

Inpatient drug rehab is an around the clock rehab program and it’s something that we recommend you always consider if you’re planning on attending rehab. From immediate access to your treatment team to receiving support from other people that are working through their own program seemingly any time you need, there are countless advantages of utilizing this program option as your recovery program.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

Regardless of whether you decide to work through our partial hospitalization program or you feel as though you’re better suited for our outpatient program, you will have total control over the length of your treatment program. Many clients that reach out to our Fort Lauderdale facility start off in a 30-day program simply because they aren’t completely sure that they want to commit to a long term program. However, we give you the opportunity to adjust your treatment plan at any time. For example, if you begin with a 30-day program, you can increase it to a 60 or a 90-day program at any time simply by speaking to a member of our team.

We will also periodically check in on you to see how you’re progressing through individual therapy. We understand that there may be certain events in your life that you don’t feel comfortable discussing in a group setting. Through individual therapy, you will have the chance to connect with our team and talk about those experiences as well as how you’re feeling about your treatment plan.

What is Outpatient Rehab?

At The Source, we offer two unique types of outpatient programs. The first is our general outpatient program. This program requires that you participate in a minimum of four hours of treatment per week. At least one of those hours will be dedicated to individual therapy while the other three will include group therapy. Group therapy is akin to a 12-step meeting in the sense that you will have the chance to discuss certain topics related to addiction, recovery and sobriety. There may be some sessions where you don’t feel comfortable sharing because of the topic while there may be many others where you feel a deep connection with what’s being discussed. Overall, group therapy gives the chance to interact with other people that are working through their own problems. You will likely come to find that you are not alone in how you feel and learn to lean on those in your group and vice versa.

IOP

Whereas partial hospitalization patients will be required to participate in a minimum of 25 hours of therapy per week and our general outpatient program clients are required to participate in a minimum of four hours of therapy per week, our intensive outpatient program is more of a middle of the road program. Our intensive outpatient program requires participation in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week. This option gives you the chance to learn more about the root cause of your addiction, possible traumas that you may have sustained that contributed to your addiction, as well as tools that you can use to overcome that addiction. When you reach out to our treatment team, we’re happy to provide you with more insight as to what you can expect during an intensive outpatient program.

PHP

For clients that recently completed a drug detox in Scranton or simply don’t live in an environment that is conducive to sobriety, we offer a partial hospitalization program. Although known as PHP, our partial hospitalization program gives you the benefit of comfortable surroundings as well as access to our team around the clock. During your partial hospitalization program, you will live in one of our luxurious single-family residences which gives you a home away from home type of environment. These locations are within close proximity to the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach as well as 12-step meetings that you can attend during the times that you are not in treatment. If you need to relax at the end of a long
