One of the confounding aspects of addiction is the fact that it doesn’t discriminate when it comes to the type of person that it affects. For example, there are countless women and mothers throughout the Philadelphia area that struggle with addiction every day. These women may feel embarrassed by their addiction, or they feel as though they simply have too many responsibilities in their life to truly be able to commit time to their recovery.

The Source Treatment Center understands the stress and chaos that a woman feels when they are suffering with addiction. The team at our Fort Lauderdale based facility goes above and beyond to provide you with the support and understanding that you need to process different aspects of your addiction so that you can achieve the goals that you have for your sobriety.

If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction, call The Source today.  Our treatment specialists are available 24/7 to discuss your options and help you find the perfect solution (800) 204-0418.

Why Choose a Women’s Focused Rehab?

At The Source, we pride ourselves on setting the type of environment where every person that comes to our facility feels comfortable, especially women. From the moment that you reach out to us, we take the time to get to know you, not only focus on your addiction. When we start to help you put together a treatment plan, we will perform a comprehensive physical exam which includes blood panels so that we can identify any potential physical issues that may be specific to women.

Rehab for Expecting Mothers

Many women are thrilled and excited when they first learn that they are pregnant. The fact that a baby is growing inside you is something that is truly awe-inspiring. However, when you have an addiction to drugs or alcohol, finding out that you are pregnant is incredibly scary. Not only could your addiction harm yourself but now it could also potentially harm your unborn baby. Sadly, many babies are born each day that have their own addiction to drugs or alcohol as a result of their mother’s addiction. This could be potentially life threatening for the baby.

To ensure that you and your baby remain in excellent health as you make the transition toward sobriety, we strongly recommend that you enroll in our partial hospitalization program. This program gives you the peace of mind of knowing that you have around the clock access to our staff throughout the course of your treatment program. We will always provide you with a luxurious single-family residence where you will be able to rest and recover. During the week, you will participate in approximately 25-hours per week of treatment. When you aren’t at our facility, you will be able to indulge in the different amenities including quick and easy access to the beach and have the chance to attend different 12-step meetings in the area.

During the course of your partial hospitalization program, we will give you the opportunity to reconnect with family members that may provide you with invaluable support during this time in your life. Through family therapy, we will supply you with a neutral environment where you can begin to have open and honest communication with your loved ones so that you can begin to redevelop these connections. These renewed relationships can help you to remain focused on your sobriety.

Rehab for Women With Children

Some women that struggle with substance addiction and have children feel as though they cannot receive help for their addiction because of their responsibilities to their family. Although it’s true that our partial hospitalization program may not be the best fit for you if you fall into this category, we strongly recommend that you look into taking advantage of one of our outpatient programs.

Our outpatient programs provide our clients with more flexible treatment options in the sense that will help them to see to the responsibilities that you have to your family while still receiving the help that you need to work through your addiction. Our intensive outpatient program, for example, requires that you spend a minimum of nine hours per week in treatment. This is a perfect option for a woman that has school-age children who have the flexibility of coming to our facility during the day while they are in school.

Our general outpatient program, on the other hand, is ideal for a woman that may need to work during the day and can commit a minimum of four hours a week to treatment at night. We will assist you in developing a relapse prevention plan so that you can feel comfortable and confident during the times that you aren’t at our facility. Remember, you will also have the opportunity to speak with a member of our team on an individual basis during our one-on-one counseling sessions. These meetings are a wonderful opportunity for you to give our team a better insight as to what you’re feeling throughout the course of your recovery. Also, it’s a perfect chance to adjust your recovery plan if needed.

Benefits of a Women’s Only Program

It’s important to remember that there are certain aspects of emotions or life in general that only other women understand. For example, only another woman can understand the heartache that they feel when they cannot be the mother that they want to be to their children as a result of their addiction. Also, if you went through a specific trauma that was inflicted by a man, you simply may not feel comfortable talking about those experiences in front of men.

At The Source trauma-based rehab, we commit ourselves to providing both women and mothers with the holistic support that they need to navigate the different aspects of their addiction. With years of experience in the industry, we understand the unique care that women and mothers need and deserve. A member of our team is available around the clock to help to get you started in putting together your treatment program. Don’t spend another day lost in addiction. Please reach out to us today at (800) 204-0418.
