What is Inpatient Drug Rehab

Over the years, we have helped countless clients that feel as though the environment that they live in is simply not conducive to recovery or sobriety. For instance, they may live in an area that is in close proximity to where they used to use their drug of choice or perhaps, they live with a person that doesn’t understand the fact that addiction is a disease. If you feel as though you fall into this category, be sure to mention these details to a member of our staff when you initially reach out to us so that we can provide you with more information about your treatment options.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

One of the most important decisions that you will need to make revolves around the durations of your treatment program. A top reason why many clients decide to work with The Source team and make the commitment to coming to our Fort Lauderdale facility is because we recognize the fact that addiction is not something that develops overnight. This means that it will take more than just a few days or a few weeks to overcome.

At The Source, we don’t put a limitation on the amount of time that you can spend in treatment. We have worked with many Philadelphia based clients that have taken advantage of our treatment program for 30 days while many others have remained out our facility for 90-days or beyond.

Regardless of the program that you select, the bulk of your time working with our team will revolve around participating in different forms of treatment so that we can help you to identify and overcome the root cause of your addiction. We believe that addiction is often triggered by experiencing some form of trauma in your life. Whether that trauma was caused through your experience as a first responder or you experienced some type of abuse at a point in your life, our team works with you on a personal level to help you to identify this event and give you the tools that you need to overcome it so that you’re no longer impacted by the negativity of it.

What is Outpatient Rehab?

There are countless clients that simply don’t have the flexibility to commit themselves to a partial hospitalization program which is one of the reasons why we developed our outpatient programs. These programs were designed to provide clients with the recovery support that they need while still giving them the opportunity to see to other important personal or professional responsibilities.

Our general outpatient program, for example, requires that you participate in a minimum of four hours of therapy per week. Three of those hours will be spent in group therapy while the remaining hour will be spent interacting with one of our counselors during individual counseling. We will do everything that we can to help you develop a treatment plan that doesn’t interfere with your other responsibilities but still provides you with access to the care and support that you need to overcome your addiction.

IOP

Our intensive outpatient program, also known as IOP, is a popular treatment option because it provides our clients with a higher level of structure than our general outpatient program, however, it still gives them the flexibility to attend to other commitments.

IOP clients are required to spend at least nine hours a week in treatment which still allows you to maintain a job or be present for any school events for your children. If there is a specific way that we need to adjust your treatment plan, just let us know and we will do everything that we can to accommodate.

PHP

PHP is short for partial hospitalization program. Our partial hospitalization program is well-suited for a person that completed a drug detox in Philadelphia because it will provide them with the around the clock care that they became accustomed to during their time in detox. When you come to our Fort Lauderdale based facility, we will arrange for you to live in a single-family residence that is within close proximity to both our facility as well as the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach. The luxurious residences will provide you with all of the amenities that you would expect from home as well as the added benefit of having direct access to a member of our team regardless of the hour. Regardless of whether you’re struggling with a certain concept that you heard while you were in therapy or you simply need someone to talk to at the end of a long and difficult day, you can count on our team to be there for you.
