What is Inpatient Drug Rehab

One of the reasons why people tend to get lost in the cycle of addiction is because they aren’t in the right type of environment to truly address their disease. Simply put, the people, places and things around them do not support sobriety. By making the decision to come to The Source, we will teach you what you need to know to be able to maintain your sobriety regardless of the stress and chaos that may be around you.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

The answer to this question is dependent on the client and his or her preferences. There are countless clients that reach out to us that are still hesitant about the treatment process or they aren’t completely sure whether or not they are truly suffering from an addiction but they understand that they have to make a change in their life. There are several other clients that recognize that they have a serious problem which is the reason why they make the commitment to come to our Fort Lauderdale location. Regardless of which category you fall into, you will have the opportunity to take part in a treatment plan that lasts anywhere between 30 and 90 days. Keep in mind that this timeframe does not include the time that you may need to spend in detox.

What is Outpatient Rehab?

Do you work full time? Perhaps you are going to school full time as a way to try to better yourself? If either one of these situations applies to you, then you will undoubtedly benefit from participating in our general outpatient program. Our outpatient program requires less of an hourly commitment per week in comparison to our partial hospitalization program or intensive outpatient program.

The main focus of our outpatient program will not only be developing an understanding as to the root cause of your addiction but also relapse prevention. The main way that this is done in our outpatient program is through group therapy. Group therapy allows you to interact with other members in your group that are working through their own recovery program. These sessions will be guided by a member of our team and will give you the chance to express your thoughts and opinions regarding the topic at hand which can include sobriety, addiction or recovery. Actively participating in group therapy is a wonderful way to learn more not only about yourself but also to develop your system of support which is a critical aspect of your recovery.

IOP

An intensive outpatient program is a perfect treatment option for a person that may need to work part time but still see that they need additional help when it comes to tackling their addiction. We will do everything that we can to help you develop a treatment plan that suits your needs and your schedule so that you don’t need to feel pressured in choosing your sobriety or your work or personal life.

PHP

A PHP, also known as a partial hospitalization program, provides our clients with the unique opportunity to live in one of our beautiful single family residences which is close proximity to the Fort Lauderdale beach. While you will still participate in a minimum of 25 hours of therapy and treatment per week, you will be able to enjoy the amenities that the residences have to offer. Whether you decide to take a walk along the beach and reflect at the end of a long day or you make the choice to attend a 12-step meeting that is local to the area, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you are in a safe and sober environment which can make all the difference in the world once you are ready to truly live a life of sobriety.

Similar to the other treatment programs that we offer, you will take part in individual therapy on a frequent basis. Individual therapy, also known as one on one counseling, will give you the chance to speak to our counselors on a personal basis about different aspects of your life that you may not feel comfortable discussing in a group and allow us to check in and see how you are doing as you progress through your recovery program. If any changes need to be made to your plan, we can do so during these sessions.

When you’re ready to take your first steps toward living a new and healthier lifestyle, The Source Treatment Center team is here to help you meet the goals that you have for yourself and your sobriety. Our personalized treatment plans have helped countless clients throughout the country learn what it means to be sober and go on to live the type of life that they always dreamt of.
