What Is Inpatient Drug Rehab?

Many of our clients need a change of environment in order for them to be able to truly focus on what they need to recover from their addiction to drugs. This is one of the reasons why we developed our partial hospitalization program. Clients that decide to enroll in this program will have the peace of mind of knowing that a member of our team is available around the clock to cater to their needs. We provide you with luxurious and relaxing accommodations located close to our Fort Lauderdale campus.

Similar to any other program, therapy will play a major role when it comes to interacting with the team at The Source as well as other clients. We provide our clients with the opportunity to participate in traditional forms of therapy as well as the latest cutting-edge forms of trauma therapy.

How Long Does Rehab Take?

One of the things that we always caution our clients about is the fact that your addiction did not develop overnight. Therefore, it will take longer than a day or even a few weeks or months to overcome. This is just one of the reasons why we never put a timeframe on how long your recovery program may take. Our team will continuously check in with you to see how you are progressing in your recovery. From there, we can reassess your program as needed and make any adjustments to it.

What Is Outpatient Rehab?

We realize that many of our clients simply do not have the flexibility to commit to a treatment program for certain reasons. For example, you may not be in a position where you cannot work during a set period of time or you may have family obligations that you need to see to. For these clients, we provide you with the chance to enroll in our outpatient program. Outpatient clients will come to our Fort Lauderdale facility for a minimum of four hours per week. At least three of those hours will involve participation in group therapy while at least one hour will revolve around individual therapy.

You can take advantage of our intensive outpatient program either by transitioning into this program when you complete a partial hospitalization program or by initially enrolling in it when you first reach out to our facility. Unlike a partial hospitalization program, you will not have the around-the-clock care that that program offers. This program focuses on providing you with the tools that you need to be able to adjust to living in a “real world” setting while overcoming your addiction.

Clients that work through an intensive outpatient program will participate in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week. One of the main things that we will focus on with you during your program are strategies that can help to prevent you from relapsing. It’s understandable that there may be multiple temptations that you may face as you work your way through recovery. Through interacting with other clients and also actively participating in individual therapy, you can work toward addressing those trigger points. Triggers can vary depending on the person. For example, if you went through a traumatic event such as a car accident and you see a car accident happen in a show or movie, that may trigger you to take comfort in your addiction. Our team works toward teaching you the skills that you need to work through what you are feeling so that the impact of your trauma does not weigh as heavily on you.

When you initially begin your recovery journey, it’s understandable that you will want to be continuously surrounded by a group of people who can care for you and your needs around the clock. This is why many of our clients decide to enroll in our partial hospitalization program. A partial hospitalization program provides you with the 24/7 care you need during your first few days and weeks of your program. When you register for a partial hospitalization program, you can expect to spend a minimum of 25 hours per week participating in various forms of therapy. These therapeutic techniques will help you to focus on the traumas in your life that may have triggered your addiction.

When you are not participating in therapy, you have the opportunity to relax in one of our single-family residences located not far from the beautiful beaches of Fort Lauderdale. We strive to provide you with a home away from home type of environment. You have the flexibility to work out in the gym, relax during a massage or attend AA meetings around the area. If there is anything that we can do to help you better focus on your recovery goals, just let us know and we will do everything that we can to accommodate.

When you come to The Source Treatment Center for your recovery, you can rest assured that you will have an entire team behind you to complete your program. A member of our team is available right now to help you start the process of enrolling in one of our programs. We encourage you to reach out to us to learn more about how we can help you through this important transition in your life and put you on the path of recovery.
