Rehab for Expecting Mothers

Are you expecting a child? Are you still struggling with the consequences of being actively addicted to drugs or alcohol? The Source team is ready and willing to start helping you in overcoming your addiction right now. Over and above the harm that an addiction to drugs or alcohol can do to you, it’s vital that you remember that there could be serious harm done to your baby.

There are numerous birth defects that can impact the health of your baby if you are addicted to a specific drug or alcohol. Examples include low birth weight, fetal alcohol syndrome, and sudden infant death syndrome. When you turn to The Source for help, one of the first things that we will do is talk with you about your struggles with addiction so that we can take the initial steps in putting together a treatment plan that suits your needs. We can accommodate a client coming to The Source in as little as 24 hours from the time you initially reached out to us.

If you are in active addiction when you initially reach out to us, we will recommend that you first go through a detox program. We have partnered with a number of facilities around the country that can help you to detox from drugs or alcohol in such a way so as not to harm you or your baby. It’s vital that you only ever attempt the detox process under the care of a trained medical professional, especially when you are pregnant. It’s likely that you will experience different withdrawal symptoms that may cause physical harm to you or your growing little one.

If you are an expecting mother and you feel as though you have no place to turn when you are trying to work toward overcoming your addiction, we typically recommend that you take advantage of our partial hospitalization program. A partial hospitalization program provides you with the round the clock care that you need while you are in this period of transition. A PHP provides you with the peace of mind of knowing that you can relax and heal in our luxurious accommodations while still receive the care and treatment that you need.

Rehab for Women with Children

At The Source, we understand the anxiety and embarrassment that may come with being a mother who is struggling with addiction. First and foremost, any mother’s main concern is to ensure that their child is safe and well while they are trying to work through their own addiction.

If you find yourself in a situation like this, you may not have the flexibility to participate in our partial hospitalization program. However, our intensive outpatient program or our general outpatient program can go a long way to help you to begin to overcome your addiction.

Clients that make the decision to work through our intensive outpatient program or trauma based rehab will come to our facility for a minimum of nine hours per week. During this time, you will take part in a mix of traditional and alternative therapy sessions that will help you to address your addiction. One of the strategies that we focus on during the time that you are in treatment is putting together a plan for lifelong sobriety success. Our team will collaborate with you to determine not only the root cause of your addiction but what triggers you can avoid as you make your way through everyday life.

Clients that decide to enroll in our outpatient program will receive a minimum of three hours of treatment per week. Although our outpatient clients will have access to different forms of therapy, individual therapy will play a leading role in your recovery plan. During these sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our counselors in a private setting. These meetings will help to further your understanding of the events in your life that may have led you toward addiction. Additionally, you can focus on what you can do to avoid the pitfalls of addiction going forward.

Benefits of a Women’s Only Program

One of the leading benefits of working through a women’s only treatment program at The Source is the fact that, if you keep yourself open to the information and tools that you are learning during the course of your treatment, you will undoubtedly make friends that may stay with you for the rest of your life.

It’s important to remember that there is a special connection that mothers make with other mothers that may be going through their own battles with addiction. Through actively participating in group therapy, you will come to realize that you will be able to relate to the stories of other women in your group. You will also have the chance to express your thoughts and feelings regarding topics associated with both addiction and recovery.

At The Source, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with an environment where you will always feel as though you are a member of our family. A member of our team is available around the clock to help you to transition into any one of our programs. We encourage you to take the first step toward a new life for yourself and your children by calling us today at (800) 204-0418 .
